Woke up late in the morning.. Its simply good to be able to slumber in the bed till ten, dun forget that i used to wake up really early for work on Sat back in SG. Weather's been really cold esp in the morning but I've since adapted to the weather. Still in some ways, its easier to adapt to the cold temperature from the warm humid tropics then to have someone adapt to the vice-versa. Or probably simply i'm not a 'Sun' person as i tends to melt under the sunny ray.Guess what i had for breakfast?? 3 eggs with sausages + 2 slices of wholemeal bread + yoghurt.
Oh.. well.. ya.. i overate again! But.. my frens out there should probably know by now how big my appettite can be in the morning.
We gals had a plan to venture ard the shopping area near the Plaza Shopping Centre.
I have not visited the small lanes and interesting shops there since i arrived so as the gals.
Boss changed his mind last minute and at the end we decided to go Barra with him which was scheduled on Sunday initially.
Well.. i wasnt very impressed by the trip. No doubt the drive was rather scenic, and we passed by a few nice places such as lagoa- a famous magnificient lake, the spectacular largest favela on the hill and etcetera. We spent an hr and the half to digest the beautiful view before we reach Barra, and end up loitering in the Barra Shopping Centre. Luckily i am somone who can survived with retail therapy!! Hahaa.. Bot a few stuff, basically to load my wardrobe, and thats it. Pauline got herself a real nice winter coat, and i think she looks good in it! Probably can use it when we go to Buenos Aires if the trip can be realised. Yeah yeah.. i got Zico a very 'Brazil' Dog Tag, Kekee.. shall give it to him as his bday present in October.
Stopped by Niteroi Museum on the way back to our aprtment. A huge landmark of Niteroi which can be seen from our apartment. Looks like a UFOto me.
We ordered Pizza for dinner at my apartment. Tasted okie.. and well.. thats kinda full too. Now i know why B
oss said we eat to live.. HA!Yum. Yum.. Its Pizza Party!!
