He will be flying off tomorrow to France for his new assignment. Hence we had a small farewell party(breakfast?!) for him.
Each of us contributed sth in a way. Some brought juices, some made their signature cakes.. and of course we had a lot of nice 'pau de caju' (cheese bun). A fun morning to start with.

I guess Brazillian are really expressive, never hesitate to praise people whenever they think you looks good. There is this guy who came up to me when i went down to the bank, and start talking to me in Portuguese. I was real stunned and i guessed I looked freaked out. The receptionist who can speak English saw the whole situation kept giggling before she translated his words to me. So he was trying to say ' Muito Bonita' means 'very pretty' to me. Of course its sweet of him but it was a bit scary thou.
:: Noon::
We had salad delivered to our office for lunch. Pauline's guardian- Claudia, helped us to order by translating words by words from the Portuguese Menu. A very helpful lady indeed!
