Made a trip to Teresopolis, another famous Countryside of Rio today. Similar to Petropolis, its a chill-out place for the local esp during summer. However, its not as commercialized as compared to Petropolis. Teresopolis has its own subtle yet sophisticated way to attract the tourists by its magnificent nature view. It is perhaps best known for its surrounding mountain formation, in particular one called Dedo de Deus (Finger of God) which resemble a large index finger pointing upwards into the sky, and one of the premier climbing site of Rio.

We stopped at half way for lunch. Bumped into Mauricio, Marilea and their family members in the restaurant. Wat a small world. =) The food wasnt that fantastic but the view from the restaurant was breathtaking.
There is a few interesting shops and a garden too. Look @ the flowers and the KING SIZE custard apples!!

The pleasant climate had a c alming effect and I were absolutely spellbound when the Finger of God appeared just in front of me. The wonder of Nature and God conquered me, leaving me totally speechless and grateful.

Saw a giant female black schnauzer there.. Its sooo quiet and shy.. not like that notti fellow of mine @ home at all. =P
There is a park and also a Football Team training center higher up, however, I din have the chance to go up there as the rest would like to go back early. It’s a pity but well.. I shall come back again. Reached Niteroi ard three. Pauline, Jim and I went to the plaza shopping center for a walk and got Dawn her bday gift. It was fun just window-shopping, looked at the people and chit-chatting.

I had a nice milkshake @ Bob's Burger, a fast food restaurant, and some pipoca aka popcorn. A fun Sunday in short. =)
