Met Alan for lunch @ New York New York, Citylink Mall. The restaurant was kinda packed during lunch hr. Ambience and service is OK, but the food is kinda disappointing.They hv this super big burger which i din order, but a peep at it from the next table is enuf to scare me off the chair. It was sooo HUGE -- almost triple of the size of my face!
We tried their BBQ pork ribs and waffles.. The ribs were too hard and bony, and the waffles were not as fantastic as shown in the menu.
I had been looking for a watch which can is suitable for all functions. Alan's friend has a shop there and we decided to check out the watches there. Got myself a ORIS chrono. Cost me a bomb but I seriously like the versatility and i can wear it as and when no matter I m dressing up or down. No regret no regret. Keke..
Dinner at Simei. DD recommended Turkish food at Istanbul Gourmet which is situated inside EastPoint.
It hides in a insignificant corner but I can smell the food from far. Looks like its kinda well known in the east.
Dishing out the signature chicken roll and Kebab with yellow rice. Yum yum.. considered a good catch judging by its price. The Istanbul Laksa looked nice too. Din try it thou coz the chicken roll i had was kinda filling.
